  I saw Dr Nadaud for a compond fracture of the right ankle. I was terrified of loosing my foot, well 3 months later, still have the foot. I do believe that Dr. Nadaud is the absolute best orthopedic surgeon. I still have a way to go, but thanks to the doc, I'm confident. Dr. Nadaud I am so grateful to you.

  If your a Veteran forget about being treated well by Dr Nanded's staff. It took almost 5 weeks for a referred appointment just to see Dr Nanded. at 7:10 am June 5th 2017. I had a sixth sense about the demeanor of this receptionist when she asked me in a callus tone for a Tri Care card of which I never received from V.A. I had no idea what she was talking about as I never received a Tri Care card. Dr Nanded walked in the room with another fellow and asked me about my condition and had me walk and raise my heels up with toes only on the floor. He indicated that he wanted to get more x-rays and would review my most recent MRI. It didn't take long at all when he walked back into my room with the other fellow and indicated that I needed surgery and why. He also informed me that his person who schedules the surgery's would telephone me. A woman called me and stated that my surgery would be on July 19 at Mercy Surgi Center. I am in severe pain. I asked why I had to wait so long for the surgery. She indicated it was VA's policies that had to adhere too. I called back several days later an asked for a handicapped placard and again brought the VA policy regarding my having to wait so long fro my surgery.She said that Dr. Nanded was booked up in June for veterans and that July 19th was the ONLY date available. I asked to please telephone me is there was a cancellation in June she agreed to do so. Once again she stressed that it was VA's policies that was causing the delays as Dr Nanded only does surgeries once a month at Mercy Surgi Center. In the meantime I telephone VA regarding the wait as I am severe pain related to my injury. Va indicated to me that they did not care where Dr Nanded did his surgeries and found the policy given to me odd and false. I believe that VA even telephoned Dr. Nandeds Office related to this matter as a VA rep informed me that is was Dr Nandeds policy not VA's policy. Today June 14th 2017 I telephoned Dr Nanded's office and asked once again what the policy was related to Veterans. She told me once again it was the policy of VA not Dr, Nanded's office. I informed her that that was not true that I had spoken to VA and they indicated that was Dr Nanded's policy. Then and only then did she alluded to the fact that it was Dr Nanded's policy. I then asked her why no one can tell me the truth and that in fact she changed her story twice with me. I asked to talk directly with Dr Nadad. She refused my request and hung up on me. I telephoned the office again and was hung up on immediately. Five minutes later another woman telephoned me and indicated that I called the receptionist a profane name and that I have talked with several people with a attitude. She went on to say that Dr Nanded is firing me as a patient. I again asked to talk with Dr Nanded. Then I told her that he needs to speak with me and not hide behind his staff. About an hour later Dr. Nanded telephoned me and said his staff was upset with me and that I called the receptionist a profane name. I replied now why would I call someone a profane name. That I just wanted to get to the bottom of this policy issue related to veterans. Dr Nanded seemed confused as well and then finally admitted that it was his policy with veterans. I informed Dr. Nanded that his policy was shameful putting veterans to the back of the line and limiting their definitive care. He took issue with my statement of fact and indicated he treats veterans the same as his primary patients. To me and my experience with Dr Nanded and his staff that clearly wasn't the case related to my severe injury. I was a Navy Corpsman attached with the Marine Corp and went on to be a Board certified Paramedic and a Firefighter I spent almost 40 years treating patients in dire straits. I find the conduct of Dr Nanded and his staff to be very Shameful !!!! His Staff lying about my conversations that I had. Accusing me of calling one of his staff members a profane name. Where is the Empathy ? Very Shameful !!!!!
