  Woman and I both went. On her first visit, it became apparent that her medical history was not especially important. He would hardly look at her. He seemed very irritable, angry. He was rude. He was condescending. It seemed like he just did not have the time or inclination to listen to her. She was obviously a waste of time. I was sitting there, a little shocked. Never again. Office could not find the info she sent in early. Arrived 45 min prior to appt. She offered to fill out the info again. They declined. Then they found her info, which had arrived there a week earlier. None of this made it into their system. Had to repeat everything to med assistant (she's pretty wonderful). Doc was just not interested in anything but using his phone for brief Q&A. No interest in her quality of life. Her doctors/providers were really looking forward to what neuro would say. They have been very concerned. They were very interested in her experience with Dr. Yu. She's been very fortunate with family med and pain doc. This just was not the case with this specialist. I have no idea if he just does not want to deal with women, or her, in particular. Maybe he is burned out. All I know is she needs some help that this neuro seems too professional to provide. He seemed very irritated with her, just for being present in his office. I have never seen anything like it. Don't want to again. Did wonders for the confidence I might have in him for my own care.
